Thursday Evening

Good evening peeps,

Well this morning I was rained off so I wrote.

I got 'Gardener Girl' up to almost 7,000 words.

Then I went to the meeting about homeless outreach.

I didn't know quite what to expect, stern old church ladies 'doing their duty'?

There were no old ladies. The team is led by a youngish man, and apart from one other youngish man, the volunteers were all ladies, all a little bit like me.

I had expected to volunteer myself for fundraising, but it didn't work that way. Haha. No, I am actually on the rota to do two shifts working with the homeless, starting next week.
Anyone who worries that I am too vulnerable. Remember I lived out there for three years, and I heard and saw and experienced it all, and one of the reasons I survived was that I hoped to use my experience to help others.

I got home and the noise from upstairs has disrupted the evening.

I am having trouble keeping this bridge in my mouth, it may need adjusting.

I tried to attend tutorial but it wasn't autism friendly, so I gave up.

Ha, what shall I do now?
