Well the dorm wasn't as bad as I was afraid it would be.
It wasn't even as crowded as it had first looked to be, it had looked bad because people who had left had left their bedding and no one had moved it, and some people were using spare bunks as storage.
I managed to get a lower bunk on my own on a set of bunks, it reminds me horribly of growing up in bunks with my sister.
But I have a power socket for the computer and there is wifi, there are empty lockers next to me, and actually none of these people are posh, they are mainly immigrants here looking for work, same as last time but this time they don't sneer at me and belittle me as they did in a previous disasterous experience of a backpacker hostel.
I use my teeshirt and thermal leggings as pyjamas, I go on the computer until I start falling asleep, then I lie down and sleep and forget to worry about keeping people awake by snoring, I have taken my snore medicine and the girl in the next set of bunks is snoring slightly anyway.
I sleep like a dead person until just before my alarm at 7am.
I am the first up and I buzz into the shower and wash.
Then I head down here and log on.
Breakfast isn't until 8am today.
The sky has nw cleared after a night of heavy rain.
